Configure company holidays directly through the policy engine. Manage both fixed annual holidays (like Independence Day) and unique variable festivals (like Diwali). Once configured, the exact holiday name and date instantly appear on every employee's calendar dashboard.
Policy-Driven Holiday Setup
In Vanavya HRMS, the company holiday calendar is seamlessly driven by the central Policy engine. HR administrators can configure two distinct types of holidays to ensure absolute accuracy year after year.
First, you can set Fixed Annual Holidays that occur on the exact same date every single year (such as August 15th for Independence Day). Second, you can set Variable Holidays for festivals whose dates change based on the lunar calendar (such as Diwali, Eid, or Holi). You can easily update these variable dates at the beginning of each new year.
Employee Dashboard & Calendar Sync
Once the HR team sets up both fixed and variable holidays, the system automatically pushes the updates to the entire workforce.
Employees can simply log into their self-service dashboard to view the visual company calendar. Every upcoming holiday is clearly highlighted with its name and exact date, removing any confusion about upcoming off-days and helping employees plan their work and personal time efficiently.
